Press Release

Do you want to do business with the cruise lines?
Do you have a product, tour or destination you want to promote to the cruise industry?
Do you want to learn about industry trends and expand your market base?
Do you want to gain insight to what the cruise industry is looking for?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, then you will benefit from attending the 17th Annual Florida-Caribbean Cruise Association Cruise Conference & Trade Show taking place in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, October 25-29, 2010. There is no better place to be in the forefront with the decision makers of the cruise industry. Cruise executives from the Operations, Purchasing, Marketing and Shore Excursion areas will be in attendance and committed to work with you.

The new and improved Trade Show is the best way to showcase your destination or product to Cruise Executives from the member lines, who represent a variety of destinations spanning the globe from Europe, Caribbean and Latin America. Special pavilions will provide the opportunity to showcase as a team including vendors, tour operators as well as showcasing your destination.

Don’t miss this opportunity to be part of the most successful FCCA trade show exhibit! Space will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis.

Meet privately with cruise executives during pre-arranged One on One Meetings. Discuss and present your product to up to four cruise line executives in your field for 15minute private sessions. These meetings are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. You must be a registered Delegate paid in full in order to receive information on registering for these meetings. Information will be sent by email in late August. If you are not registered at this time, you will not have the opportunity to participate.

Various informative Workshops will be lead by an impressive roster of industry experts in Marketing, Purchasing/Sourcing and Shore Excursions/Operations. Learn Marketing trends, find out what the cruise lines require from a tour operator in order to conduct business with them, etc. The round table discussions will allow for discussion, group participation, feedback and relationship building.

Special planned evening Social Events allow for opportunities to mingle with cruise executives in an informal, relaxed setting where the conference host will showcase their destination.

The FCCA’s 13th Annual Golf Classic is a great networking opportunity during the conference. This is a chance to tee-off with some of the industry’s top cruise executives in a fun-filled shotgun style tournament.

Don’t miss out on this opportunity to be present at the most important conference of the year.

Created in 1972, the FCCA is a not-for-profit trade organization that provides a forum for discussion on tourism development, ports, safety, security, and other cruise industry issues and builds bilateral relationships with destinations’ private and public sectors. By fostering an understanding of the cruise industry and its operating practices, the FCCA works with governments, ports and private sector representatives to maximize cruise passenger, crew and cruise line spending, as well as enhance the destination experience and increase the amount of cruise passengers returning as stay-over visitors.
